Statement of Purpose
Domestic Violence is a serious social issue, but men who face domestic violence in India have nowhere to go since neither the law nor the society accepts them as victims.
Brief
Using the power of type to make a difference. Designing with typography to agitate, educate, and organize the world and the audience. Use typography to help people believe in the cause and its purpose; to motivate and inspire people, and above all, to make an impact.
This campaign challenges the societal norms and encourages others to realize domestic abuse towards men as a problem waiting
to be addressed.
Target Audience
Adults (18-45) in urban India, who are passionate about social justice and connected through social media are the target audience. By delivering powerful messages in a mix of Hindi and English, with sensitivity and cultural awareness, this campaign aspires to spark conversations to break the stigma.
